I think a lot of tiers use Goop for that purpose. I also use it for head cement thinned with Toluol. Jeff Smith turned me on to that and it definitely is a nice way to customize the thickness based on the application. I keep a jar of thicker stuff for mushies and some thin stuff for basic head cement.
