i fish the weir and plymouth regularly and have for years. anything more than a 3 wt is over kill. i use a 7' 9" 0 wt. i also hve a 5' 3wt which i sometimes use. keep in mind these styreams are small and choaked with all kinds of branches and barbs which you must negotiate no matter whether you're in the river or on the bank. the plymouth river is stocked with small (6"-8") brookies and the occaisional larger ones up to 14". the weir also has small rainbows...
