Maybe not as spectacular but special in its own way .......
This is "yours truly" making an upstream mend on the Teviot at Ancrum in the Scottish borders several years ago. The pic was snapped by Geoff Bucknall and featured in an artlicle he published on 'Downstream Wet Fly" in a magazine that has long since ceased publication.
The Trout run large here as do the Grayling and I have many fond memories of April fishing on this beat.
As you will notice from the muck in the foreground trees, water levels can get quite high here
