I would have to agree I like to fish the out of the way places. I do have a twist to add to this I love to fish in the dead of winter. You very rarely see anyone on the well known rivers here in michigan except for the rare winter steelheader "beginning not to be as rare" but if you pay attention to the maps provided by the DNR there are many places where steelhead don't swim that are open year round and you never see anyone on and to me fishing in the snow in the dead calm quiet is a great time. I also enjoy steelheading but these days I have been trout fishing more and more.
Any day on the water is a great day!!!!!
