you even answered my next question with that very clear explanation. thank you for the effort. i hope it helped you to work thing out as well. i see now that i am definitly struggling with the load as well as the rotation. i was doing much more of a switch cast and loading the rod and letting the recovery kick the line upstream while moving the rod to the backcast position unloaded as in the switch. this is apparently a critical difference and was really affecting my consistancy. tonites practicing should be interesting. thanks again.
