Regarding nylon waders and rubber shoes... Not really a good combination, especially the rubber shoes. You want felt soled wading boots. The felt has much better traction on slippery rocks. The only rubber type shoe I would even consider is the Aqua Stealth type rubber. The nylon type waders generally end up making you sweat so bad (because they don't breathe) you end up as wet inside as out.

Seriously, spend the money on a pair of Dan Baileys or Simms and get a pair of nice felt soled wading boots. Your knees and seat of your waders will hold up to the rigors of fishing and you will be much, much happier in the long run.
