In this case the head length for these superb spey lines wouldn't be my first choice for overhead casting with an 11ft rod IMHO, because where you live having 75 ft plus leader out there when the fat stuff hits the guides leaves many a stripah untapped in the wash.

But if you're drfiting flatwings in current with an occasional spey cast in an ocean riptide it would be a great line for the job although I am not sure which one would match of the 9/10 or 10/11 lines. But that's just my opinion, FWIW.

If you bid and win I'll bring a SH specialist to the farside so you can say "ahhh" too (ref: recent pnw post)
