Resident Silver FFing in Puget Sound yet?

I recall the years when I had a boat in the burbs of Seattle... the sound fishery for resident coho and blackmouth was pretty hot in April. At least three times or more I went to the April Sekiu fishery for Halibut and slot limit kings. There were tons of residents around, no huge hooknoses but plenty of fun and the rockfish were plentiful too. Great sport on flyrods. Halibut, although impossible on a fly, were easy to find at Eagle Pt., the delta off the Sekiu and Hoko River mouths, and at other select locations. They move offshore to Swiftshure Bank later in the year but are all around Sekiu in April.

Dalco and the stretch around the Narrows had silvers in late May and June. We fished Possession Bar and the inside channel, north sound from Edmonds to Bush Pt, and that big Port Townsend rip. Point-no-point was packed but produced solidly.

Anyone heading to the saltchuck?
