First off season flies

With snow in the immediate forecast and the boat put away I have just started developing new patterns for next year. I was hoping to develope a life like and durable minnow imitation.....

hook-size to match natural size 2 bass bug here
thread- clear mono
Tail- white calf tail with strands of krystal flas and frayed mylar
underbody- pearl ice chenille with gills of regular red chenille and a head of a darker color of ice chenille
overbody- pearl mylar piping pulled over the chenille

the body of the fly is then coated with epoxy......
