RE:New Sci. Anglers Lines
In the northeast, the QD lines (also measured in grains) were extremely popular until the delamination and cracking problems became obvious and consistent. The Rio deepsea offered an alternative, much more durable but it doesn't cast quite as easily for a line of this design. It seems to be more sensitive to having the right length of line out of the guides, although that is something quickly aquired and in no time it becomes second nature. All in all it has been a saving grace for the sinking head flyfisher.
I'll definitely have to compare the SA lines against these. Thanks for the tip, maybe we can even get a couple test lines for members to try.
