Nice hen! Not a bad stogie either. Good to hear you saw good fishing on the Flowers. It's been a brutal year here on the Humber and Main Rivers. One week, the third week of June was good fishing. The rest of the year has been a real let down. Very low water conditions, and what water was left was extremely warm. We spent 5 days on Adies Stream (a tributary of the Humber) and only fished the first 3 days. We checked the water temp at Mercer's Pool on our third night and it was 78 degrees. Not good. We packed up our fishing gear and just spent the next two days tying low water flies and playing horse shoes. At this point with little to no rain since, most of the rivers have closed (besides the main body of the Humber) because of the ambient conditions. Hopefully we'll get some good rains before the season closes, or it's a write off.
Tight Lines!
