The Honey Hole in Maine

I was informed the other day with some very sad news. Likely the most productive Brook Trout river in the state had an illegal stocking of Smallmouths a few years ago. Smallmouths can co-exist with Salmon, but they just provide way too much competition for the Brookies. SAD. On top of that the water is so low and so warm...... prospect for fall fishing before the end of the fishing season. ..................... Don't get me wrong, we'll still be able to slay some hogs before the end of the season!! HAs anyone out there been doin' anything in the freshwater in Maine or New Hampshire???? Lets hear about I got info to share if anyone has interest!
