I've been there 3 times. Since you're in the low season, you can pretty much pick and choose when you go out with a guide. Try to go when there is little wind. On the other days, walk, or rent a bike or golf cart, and work your way up the beach (north) You'll see plenty of bonefish, occasional permit and even tarpon.
I would appreciate the names of any good guides and a way of contacting them. I do not book in advance, just start calling them after I get there.
