RE:Casting practice

...hope springs eternal.....

Caught what I believe was a land lock salmon this morning at Spectacle. Long slender body (about 14"), elongate mouth with slight hook in the lower jaw, multiple rows of very small, very sharp teeth, mettalic slate body with light blue spots near dorsal, pronounced nasal openings just above the upper lip, "hinged" head (lower jaw detached from skull cavity), eyes behind maxilla. Sound familiar to anyone?

I hung him in 2 ft. of sunlit water near a gravel point; hard fighting fish despite the cold; he took a gray drop-nymph.

I caught a few perch as well. Good to be on the water, but I need a sauna room to escape the chill I caught.
