Went driftboating for a day at 1500 and was exposed to a whole new set of holes and lies, and holding water. Also spent a day wading the Douglaston run @900(Altmar) and had a blast day fishing pocket water on the flats. Very light pressure, with only 1/2 doz cars at the Douglaston parking lot. Cooold, though. I had to do a lot more jjumping jacks than I would have liked.
We were getting most hits on the swing, and not on the drift. Good stonefly hatches on the snow.
