Anyone up for the ridiculous?

Looking at rental properties in the Bahamas, I am finding that their spread and the relative isolation of some of the islands creates insane rental opportunities for FORUM style sorties.

For instance, in the Acklins / Crooked Island chain which boasts one of the biggest flats to deep water to land ratios in the entire chain with legendary bonefishing and virtually no tourist activities I found a rental home that would cost 6 anglers approximately $250 USD FOR THE ENTIRE WEEK!!!!

Acklins is not easy to get to, most likely you'd have to stay overnight in Nassau (awwww pooor us!) to catch the morning flight to the BONEclave

But there are something like 199 other islands in the Bahamas and virtually all of them have bonefish flats!

Here's one waterfront on Grand Bahamas with car and dingy included! http://www.ifb.com/grand-bahama/index.htm :eyecrazy:

This one sleeps 10 but is more during the winter... http://www.vacation-rentals.org/p16418.htm

But you get the gist. Bone-adventure Claves... just give us miles and miles of flats and the collective wisdom of our co-conspirators and it could very well be a week of INSANE bonefishing or at least a terrific break in the winter doldrums.

A box of cubanos on the table, fine rum, a grill for the catch of the day, roll into town for some lobster, etc. Otherwise nothing but hardcore flats.

Anyone interested?
