If I had to depend on me tying flies to fish with I wouldn't be able to get out there and would have to go back to the dark side to fish. I'd just as soon have everybody else tie and then I go fish....

You might start out cheap but it doesn't stay that way. I got into winter steelheading just that way. A cheap rod,reel,and line. Had everything else. All under $100.00. I up graded the next year....

I'll agree,He is spoiled on fishing with a spey rod. I think that he has them for all operations now. From salmon to trout with that 5wt sage.
