Best Trout Flyline Nowadays?

Being the saltwater / steelhead / salmon type, I haven't used the 5wt for more than yard casting in a while. Most of the time an 8wt is a lightweight setup, but I'm going to do some trout fishing...

It'll be fine with a tip. If you have the other section, and can find a piece of another lighter blank you can put the other piece inside the two but just a tip will be fine.

Well said... I'm with Jr Spey on price/performance philosophy. I've also had good luck with Tiemco stainless SW hooks. I use the 811s when a lighter wire is ok, and the 800s for heavy wire...
