Excellent drag,super smooth,and fast line recovery.
The only drawbak is line capacity.
The l/a III is listed for weights 5-7 with 75yds of 20#dacron...

Do any of you have any experience with Cabela's SR large arbor reels?
I may end up going with the FT,since it is a faster action rod.

After looking over the Cabela's FT series,it seems like a great deal.
I mean,you get a 4 piece rod,SR large arbor reel,line,backing,and case,all for....$365.

What are your opinios of Orvis rods?
Specificly the Silver Label and Superfine series.

Also,any experience with Redington equipment?
