I'm planning on purchasing a Redington 4 pc 9 ft 9 wt combo for beach use. I can't seem to find in their website the true action of this rod. I need a fast action rod. I wonder if some of you guys...

Tough one.... roll cast is used when you don't have enough space at the back to make a normal cast and in other special situations, is that what you're talking about? Please elaborate.

I use the floppy 3 1/2 plastic boxes that carry about 5 disks (50 cents, Office Depot). Just glue foamy sheets on both sides, and there's a great size nymph or midge box that can hold up to 100 flies.

Good to be here. I'm Rodrigo, from Mexico City. Usually Fly fish for rainbow and brown trout in the central mountains of this country. Have caught Bass on the fly, too. :cool:
