I dunno, it's 10 below zero right now, the snow is still very deep and trout opens in 3 1/2 weeks :( Heck there is still about 18 inches of ice some of the lakes.

BobK, I have plenty of trout water open now too that I could fish. Otsego lake, Arnolds lake and Goodyear lake just to name a few. But all trout streams and rivers in this area are closed. Not sure...

LOL ! I cant believe you have open water downstate. I live 3 1/2 hours north west of you at least and we have been iced over since November and I have about 4 feet of snow on the ground. :hehe:

I just got back from fishing and gave this new fly a try. Had 3 misses and caught one blue gill that inhaled it. The little legs where torn off and for some reason the dang fly wont float...

Well our weather has really changed big time from dry summer heat to wet fall conditions. This thing could be a good thing :)
