Hello Peter

I was casting a DT9F while evaluating a Meiser 6/7. I now have this lined with a Rio MS 6/7. Casting felt about the same in the 50-70' range. Of course the MS is easier to cast. The DT9 might be...

There was no way I was going to take off my gloves to dip a thermometer into the river with my bare hands.

The last temp I took was about 2 weeks ago and it was 37-38.

cold weather, ice and snow

I use egg flies, I use shot, I use bobbers, I use a floating line and I use a 2 handed rod.

The only stares I get are from inside the passing cars wondering why that nut case is fishing in...

An old Michigan proverb

"If you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes".

We went from cool and damp to warm and sunburn on Saturday.

I think you boys got pretty wet on Saturday night. Anyone get into some good fish...

I am always mending. It seems that most of the time the foam line is going away...

if you want hook-up numbers

egg fly on indy set up is about the most effective you can get with a fly.

most memorable are jolt takes by fresh fall chrome on a swing.
