One of the best uses for the thin, floppy mouse...

One of the best uses for the thin, floppy mouse pads that companies give away is undoing stuck rods. The non-slip rubber side really grips.

We caught them on jigs and the big one, George caught on a chunk of mackerel. You should try the inside of the beach in early A.M.

Were you in a boat or fishing from the beach by the river? I went over by Kingston this morning and it was beautiful... until the wind blew up. It went from almost calm to >15 in no time. I bagged it...

I have a Leatherman PST-2 and one side of the file is a grooved diamond file, made for sharpening hooks. Very fast and effective. The PST-2 also has a fine pair of scissors.

Juro,
get it straight...it was flex coat man. I got one coat on the butt section and two on the tip. I'll do the second coat on the butt tomorrow morning. Then I will feel like a kid the week before...

I agree with you. CCA preaches and teaches catch & release methods, so you would think they would set an example by showing/using plugs with single hooks to reduce the mortality rate.
