Your best bet IMO would be fishing the beaches for returning silvers and pinks. The pinks return on odd years so they should be plentiful here in 07.

i have caught salmon on orange, blue, yellow, pink, white and just about every color line out there. That being said i normally use a Sage line and they are pale yellow in color.

Our rod of choice is the Sage SLT 890. I believe i now own 5 or 6 of them for salmon fishing. We have caught fish up to 40 pounds with no problems.

that may take longer to turn because they will probably just strip it and re-wrap it. Longest i have waited on a rod though is 4 days. And that was from 3 rods that had a lobster pot fall on them....

On the restigouche we have had CnR limits of either 4 or 2...
