I fished both the morning and evening in the TMA between Cornwall and Housatonic Meadows. Most of the hatch came off just before dusk and the morning fish were completely uncoorporative....

That stuff is pure magic. It knots like dacron, does not fail, low visibility, and comes in a wide variety of sizes. It's only downside is that it's a little pricey, but it's great to work with.

Theres a scum fly recipe a few threads back under the warm water flies archive.
If I dont use that pattern in heavy weeds I usually use poppers with looped mono weed guards.

Small streamers and wooly worms/buggers in vibrant or shiny colors should do the trick. If you want to mainly target panfish, small poppers are very fun and effective.
