Nice shots Kerry!! I especially like that heron - every once in awhile you'll get one that's not camera shy. Not often, but enought to keep trying.

Reports have lots of those pesky pinks mixed in with a very good return of wild Silvers hanging around Sekiu. The gear draggers are going down 20-30' pulling spoons and having 100 fish days.

If it was a Skagit-type setup and yellow/green running line, it was probably the Scientific Anglers Short Spey. If tan colored, I'm guessing it was the Airflow Northwest Skagit...

Turns out this closure is not official - they may still close it, but the current status is that it will be open for the C&R season thru April.
