Looks like summer time for sure...

The local reefs had had excellent striper action with the squid, but that dried up over the weekend. I had to change plans slightly and found fish on the flats but not hitting the usual baitfish...

I don't disagree with a lot of what Pete has to say, but I look at it more from the other end. A striper that is fatigued from a hook and line fight is an easier meal for a seal to swipe than one...
