Tried the Hand at Dee flies

Hi guys...thought I would try my hand at tying Dee flies on a blind eye hook. The steelhead in coastal BC sure seem to like them. This one is tied on a 4/0 blind eye.

Soaking your Biots

John...I would agree with soaking any biots that are wrapped as bodies....it definately makes life easier.

Let me know how you make out soaking them, then using the hot tweezers.

Its really not that tough....just time consuming with all the tie in steps.....I have found that I make up all the weighted underbodies with the tails in place first and do about a dozen or so up...
