Yes the fish are still there, right now so are the people. So I've been doing best when just the fish are around :) Early mornings, night, or in areas void of boats / 4x4 / inflatable toys is best....

Best Trout Flyline Nowadays?

Being the saltwater / steelhead / salmon type, I haven't used the 5wt for more than yard casting in a while. Most of the time an 8wt is a lightweight setup, but I'm going to do some trout fishing...

It'll be fine with a tip. If you have the other section, and can find a piece of another lighter blank you can put the other piece inside the two but just a tip will be fine.
