hi

okay, photo was wrong.
i must say that i don`t know if the fly that i mean in englisch breadfly is. in german it`s "brotfliege" and i have it one on one translated. this fly is used for carp fishing and is so successful that it is on some waters in germany not permitted. i have one photo, but i don`t know of this is a good one.

if anybody else knows information over the breadfly or have a foto of it send a reply. thanks.

greetings marc

Hi Marc,

Here'a a link to an online article about flyfishing for carp. It's a great article with plenty of useful information. It even mentions using a bread fly and has a drawing of one, but it does not have a photo or tying instructions.

Here is the main page for the article:

Here is the page with the bread fly:

Hope this helps! Please come back and report your results!

edit: By the way, if you do a search for carp on this site you will find some good information. There are several members here that enjoy flyfishing for carp.
