Big Brown Trout Video

For anyone who's interested I have finished putting the landing of a 22 lb brown trout on video.......(the one on my profile thumbnail)

The last time I took a "personal day" and fished by myself, I had someone following me with a video camera. I caught several brown trout over 30 inches that day and one was around 35-37 inches. I have "just" finished converting the VHS to MEPG format so it can be emailed. The quality is pretty crummy, since the camera was one we weren't worried about dropping in the river so forgive me that one.

The total file size is 3.11 meg so I can't send it to hotmail accounts that have 2 meg limits. Anyone that is interested drop me an email at flyfishar@hotmail.com and I'll send them out over the next month. The download time for a phone modem is about 15 minutes.

Hal:

You've got to get me into one of those 40" steelhead!!!! ;) (too bad there is not a "begging" icon because I'd sure be using that one alot.

Our season is about to crank up again and I'm pretty jazzed about it. You have no idea what it's like for a fishing "addict" to sit in the house for almost a year. I'll probably go a little fish crazy for a while.

I was reading about your fisheries last night on another web site which really had some amazing detail information on where, when, how, to fish all of those waters. Your right BS is at record levels this year. That Lake Taneycomo looks like an interesting fishery.

When I get my new egg patterns perfected that my local fly shop owner should me on friday I will send you a few. I am sure they will be taken readily by your trout. These things look like real killers and simple to tie.
