I liked the fly White Water Witch tied by Moron-Saxatillis, I decited to try dublicating it, so this is what my Witch looks like.

How did I do for those that had viewed "Moron" fly.
God its hard to use that name, without feeling like I'm belittleing (sp) him.

Looks good to me Joe. I tied mine basically using Ken A's formula for the larger flatwings. He uses a neck hackle 1st curving up to support the other hackles, which are all tied curving down. I have used stiffer synthetic material as support like a short bunch of ultra hair type stuff. Probably not as good as the neck hackle but... Tie the hackles in each a wee longer than the next with 2 stands of flashabou between each one extending a little past the hackle tips. Also, the width of the feather(s) will determine how it actually swims. A wider set of wings will give more 'lift'.
