Here is a fly I recieved in the swap. Very nice epoxy work on the head and body. I Had a couple questions:

What was the material you used for the wing? Have not see it before and it looks lke it really tapers nicely.

Also what does it imitate? Have not seen anything like it over here.

It looks to me like that material is Success Flies "POLAFIBRE".Tied Hi Tie style.

yup, it's gotta be polar-fibre. and it looks genericly like a silverside. really nice epoxy work is right. Tom D

Yes sir, that's polarfibre. I use that particular fly to represent baby herring. I tie a smaller, sparser one in olive to represent the silver-sides. I hope you have luck with it - they have been very productive for me, as well as extremely durable.
