Albacore

Hi
Word around here is that the Albacore fish are appearing in and around the Long Island Sound, in the Saybrook Ct. area.

So I tied these, hopeing that they might be productive, what do you Albacore fishermen think. ??

Joe, very nice... and delicate... I know the eyes are clousers but what kind... Black paint with epoxy over them.... I would like those for some bonefish flys.

Should work

I am pretty sure that an albie will eat those flies. Remember the most important thing is presentation.

Striblue
The eyes are "Spirit River, nickel plated lead, they come in 5 differant sizes, the eyes that I used on these flies are 1/4 inch diameter, the picture does not show the true color of them, they are not painted black, and are not epoxied.
I bet they would do the bonefish flies justice in a smaller diameter.
