nice work! I'm a big believer in rattles for flats flies. It makes a difference for sure.

I've been experimenting with old guitar strings I used to toss. They have a lot of potential for all kinds of shaping and extension. Will post some pics this winter.

Great idea for rattle attachment, I've tried EZ BB hung off the back but it was very bulky and seemed to muffle the rattle. Like your crab too, looks like a winner.
