The River Foundation, based in Montreal, is actively seeking protection for the Restigouche River, known for its very large Atlantic salmon, and this past week launched a petition drive. ASF has announced the winners of its 2009 Live Release Rewards and Recognition Draws for anglers and outfitting camps. Both ASF and its Regional Councils fully support live release, for the future of the salmon runs.
