Atlantic Salmon Fly of the week Rutledge.

This fly is another fly similar to the rat flies. It is very popular in New Brunswick and Quebec. It is also known as the Caines river special.


Hook: Up eye salmon.
Tag: Oval silver tinsel.
Tail Fluorescent green wool.
Body: Rear 1/2 fluorescent green wool, front Peacock herl
Rib: Oval silver tinsel.
Throat: Peacock sword fibers under black hackle
Wing: Black squirrel tail.
Head: Black
