I was wondering if any of you could share with me, something that I could use to better protect my tube covers. I wash the tubes each time I use the boat, and I keep it inside and suspended while in storage, but the top material is starting to seem a little "rigid" (?) and I also want to preserve the stiching as long as I can. I have never put anything on it except soap and water, but I was thinking that maybe some sort of scothguard or camp dry might help preserve the bladder covers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
I use 303 UV protectant on all my rafts. Spray on cleaned tubes, wait 5 minutes and wipe dry. Works well for me. I purchase it by the gallon, but I know that it is available in a smaller spray bottle.
