Calling all HOOKNOSE Junkies!
My partner in crime Smitty, his fishin' partner and S/O Pam, and a few tag-alongs like me are going to be bouncing around the south Vancouver island area this fall. When I lived in Seattle, I found the straits and oly shoreline to be a bounty of ocean coho opportunities.
The south island area is reputed to be a chinook area as opposed to a coho region, that is until you get to Barkeley Sound, Tofino, and points north from there.
Anybody have experiences to offer on the topic?
