Utah Saltwater Flyfishing

Could tarpon, tuna and other saltwater game fish be transferred to the great salt lake in Utah?
Could that Eco-system support open ocean fish?
Wouldn't it be cool to fly fish for barracuda of blue-fin in Utah? 8-)
The great salt lake is salt water, if the concentrations are close to the same and a food supply for the big fish, it should support blue water game fish.
Just a pipe dream, I guess...

Interesting concept, but unless there was a completely isolated basin I am a believer that we should not play God with species distribution. Browns from Europe == whirling disease, to cite one example.

On the other hand, we make water parks... if we had a tarpon park at every mini-mall I wouldn't mind shopping so much!
