Can anyone help me with instructions on tying the Lambroughton steelhead skater. I know the materials but not the application. Thanks for any help.
Yes, Dave's recipe goes like this: wrap 5 inches of .35 lead around the shank. Tie in half a dozen strands of flourescent rubber legs material crosswise to the shank. Wrap entire hook in day-glo orange cactus chenille. Oh, did you say "skater?" I thought you wanted the pattern he usually fishes with...okay, it just occurred to me this is a joke that probably nobody else will get other than Dave himself and a few others.
