Strudwick Rods

Does anyone have any input on Strudwick rods, made in Austrailia? I have a South African friend that thinks very highly of them.

I owned a Strudwick DBT...very nice rod. I sold it to buy a few blanks to build on instead. The Strudwick rod blanks used to be made by Composite Developments out of Auckland NZ....Great company. The older DBT rods were the same as the CD GHR rods. I beleive CTS now makes the blanks for Strudwick, but I am not sure that Strudwick is still in business. I know their website has not been updated in quite some time and I heard rumor on an AU BB that Strudwick maybe going under. If so that would be a shame...they made a great product

Just confirmed that Strudwick is still alive and well. Received a blank/rod price list from them...they seem to be expanding their ranges
