Bass Pro-Gold Cup Rod ???

Bass Pro Shops have a rod called the Gold Cup. It looks and sounds like a decent rod for the money. Does anybody know any thing about these rods? Thanks.

The question is "do bass pros know anythting about fly rods?" :hihi:

IMO it'll be hard to sell, and you probaly will. Why not buy the rod you will sell it to buy later?

I have a 9-foot, three-piece, eight-weight model. It's an excellent, fast-action line launcher. A friend thinks it's the best eight-weight he's tried. Nicely appointed, with a titanium-finish reel seat and other touches. The stripping and second guides are big enough for a 14-weight, but they don't hurt the performance.

I have a rod of theirs that says they know enough to market decent rods for a very reasonable price.
