The Creek Company Round Boat???

Hi!
I'm a flyfisher from Hungary. My target fishes are pikes, bass, chubs maybe rainbows. I would like to start fishing from bellyboat on lakes. I have found one on Cabela's, the Creek River Round Boat (with free fins). It looks like so good, but I'm afraid it has got problems. It looks like too cheap for a fine quality product. Is there anybody who knows something about this belly? Or if you know any other sites or products what you can offer in the same price?
Thank you very much for all your help!!! (and sorry for my english :) )

I've owned the Creek Company U-Boat (the one with the open front, u-shaped tube) for 6 years and have had no problems with it whatsoever. Despite their lower price point, they really are a good product and I'd recommend one to anybody based on my experience with the one I own.

They have an excellent reputation so I wouldn't be worried about buying one.

Round vs. U-shape

I own both shapes of belly boats, and I personally prefer the round......
here's why: With the round boat, you can rest your elbow on the front and let it hinge comfortably during your casts, also it serves as a rest when I'm working up a fly. The best thing about my U boat is the enterance and exit of the water....but that's all I like about it. My back starts to ache after about 3 - 4 hours from not having a 'good' front rest. I'm afraid these round tubes are going to go extinct at some point. I hope to build a supply up before they do. Of course.... this is all just my opinion. Obviously, there are a lot of people out there who prefer the U as shown by the great number of them on the market. Tough enterance and exiting is worth it to me in order to have hours of comfort.

How do you fly cast while resting your elbow so low? My brain isn't letting me picture it...

What about the stripping apron as a rest when working on a fly?
