Aussie Flats

Hi from Down Under,

If you guys are fanatical about flats/sight fishing, I think you'd love Cape York, the northern tip of Australia.
The west coast of the Cape has miles of sandy beach and river flats to drift and wade. I don't know how much you here about it over there. but I'd bet it on of the best sight/ flats fishing spots in the world.
Species galour,Barramundi, Permit, Queenfish, Giant Herring, Threadfin Salmon, LongtailTuna, Mackeral and several Trevally species just to name a few.
It's very remote and only accessable by boat, I run a 55ft mothership towing 3 5metre Sportsfishers.
Most of our trips the species count is well over 30 sometimes over 40.
Drop me a line if you'd like to know more.
You're missing out.
Regards Dave.
