Sage 8150-4 Spey Rod

Bill, Brian, etc -

So it's been a while, what can you share with us about the 8150-4? Changes in the Sage line for 2001... only three traditional Spey rods? What is the buzz on the river (other than wild release)?

RE:Sage 8150-4 Spey Rod

Apparently the discontinuation of the rod puts the emphasis on the 9150-4 as the rod for this niche. It did feel a little more than I would have suspected as an owner of the 7136-4 and the 10150-4. I've cast the 9140-4 a lot and it even feels lighter than the 8150 especially in the bottom end.

I'll bet Sage is still working on something between the 7136 and the 9150... I'll have to ask them at the show.
