Pollution

:tsk_tsk:
Sad state, I know that Oregon has as many as 10 (could be more, do not have the reg book in front of me) But the change starts with US!!!!
Think about what you do before you do it, Will it hurt the enviroment?
Join a group in your area and help turn the corner on this threat, spend a few hours cleaning up a stream bed, beach, or lake shore. When camping, GO EASY, and pack it out, your "MOTHER" will love you for it!
Write letters and put preasure on companys and politics in your area!
If each person spent a few hours, twice a year, it would be a done deal!
She wants to heal, we just need to stop beating her up.

Hey Greg,
It's a sad state of affairs. Now with the re-wording of regulations the Bush administration has pulled, it has allowed he and his cronies to side step the legislative process, it will likely get worse. By re-designating mine waste- tailings- and calling it fill it will allow mountain top mine corporations to dump their slag, chemical and organic matter directly into steams. Also the loosening of the clean air act wording has allowed the coal power stations in the mid west to not have to upgrade their smoke stack scrubbers to the best available technology when they are down for refitting. A stipulatiuon that was required until recently. For a man who claims to be for the environment he and his corporate pupeteers have done a number on all of us down wind and to those living in the hills of West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Look forward to more despoiling of our trout waters.
