Texas Tyer & Taper

New to DFW area and been fishing for some years. New to tying flies and just started to make my own tapered leaders...yeah! Really fun and some good place to fish here in TX & OK!

A hearty welcome!

I used to spend some time around DFW with a number of customers in the area. The guys in the office were big on the plentiful bass opportunities. I never got down to the gulf but I heard the reds are awesome. Also visited a great flyshop in San Antonio TX, nice area.

I enjoyed the links per the leaders, in fact all those names are familiar for an old FF@ alumni like myself.

Great to have you on board!

Welcome!!!

I don't know the first thing about fishing in Texas.

Thanks to you, now I have to add fishing in Texas to my list of things to do.

Welcome!!!

Howdy Tex.. I was stationed at San Antonio for basic training during my Air Force years.
I never got a chance to go AWOL and fly fish Texas... :-D
It was nice there, I guess I'm just tired of Ohio...
Welcome here, you'll like it.
