Flyfisha1, GregD, Striper..and to all those who might give a hoot,
Took a drive down to the River on Sat and Sunday.. warm temps on Sat combined stiff winds on Sunday blew most of the ice out of the Tellers point area. However the marina I keep the boat in ( 2 miles north ) was still choked up pretty good but I did see some free water up there. It wont be long.. another week maybe and the fun will start. Boat goes in the shop next week then right into the water.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yes...life suddenly got better.
Hey Hey, bring on spring!
Just let me know when it looks good, I'll be right over to wet a line with you :-).
I'm looking forward to getting out with you and some of the guys on the forum to check out some of your home water. It's certainly been a cold one for us in the northeast US this year making for some serious cabin fever for some of us. Perhaps after the weekends cold snap things will warm up next week enough to break up the ice jam near the marina so you can venture out.
Should be taking the boat in for some work anyday now. Then its fun time!
