Great Glass Minnow Pattern

Has anyone else seen this pattern yet?

I can't find a pattern that looks and feels anymore realistic than this one. Okay so it's not really tied but manufactured, but WOW what a great pattern for snook, trout, reds, bluefish, spanish mackeral, and just about anything that eats glass minnows. A transparent, flexible material gives this fly a lifelike look and feel. The hook is slightly weighted to give the fly a nice action when stripped.

I wish I could say it's my pattern but it's not and the guy who tied it is a little tight lipped about how he does it. But I'll get it out of him one way or another.

Okay lets hear it from the purists out there that think this could be an invention from the Anti Christ of fly fishing himself.

This is one of the local guys in the New England area's creations, Rich Murphy. From Keith's review of the Denver show, his stuff is going mainstream. Pretty cool stuff from what I hear.

Striblue posted some similar minnows in the archive made with this stuff recently.
